The Enterprise Risk Management Analyst 2 will use professional enterprise risk management concepts and will apply organizational policies and procedures to resolve a variety of moderately complicated issues. Provide analytic analysis to risk management programmatic activities, develop data to support insurance underwriting requests, and conduct education and training programs for faculty, students and staff. The incumbent will coordinate cases and process subpoenas for UC San Diego students. Responsibilities include case management of general liability and property claims. The University of California, San Diego, Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) Enterprise Risk Analyst 2 works under general supervision of the Enterprise Risk Manager. The UC San Diego EH&S Risk Management Program is charged with managing/financing all claims filed against UC San Diego, implementing the UC Insurance Program on campus, and advising UCSD Department managers, staff and students on effective loss prevention strategies to reduce claims costs. The Risk Management Program is comprised of the Workers’ Compensation Program and the General Liability Program.
